Soper Announces in LD 21

Oct 04, 11:12 AM CST

Democrat Tami Soper, Legislative Aide to Omaha Senator Gwen Howard, officially announced her plans to run for legislature in LD 21:

Soper says she has a particular interest in health and human service issues, because of her background working in those areas.

Access to health care, particularly for the self-employed, is particularly important in District 21, she said…

...She served six years in the Nebraska Air National Guard, has worked for public and private health and human service organizations and is an active community volunteer, according to her news release.

LD 21 covers some of Northwest Lincoln as well as all of greater Lancaster County north of Van Dorn Street and west of 27th Street. It also contains the towns of Valparaiso, Ceresco, and Ashland in Saunders County.

We all wish Tami the best of luck as she starts her campaign.
