Achelpohl Statement on Kerrey Decision

Nebraska Democratic Party State Chair Steve Achelpohl released the following statement regarding the announcement of Senator Bob Kerrey:
“I am certainly disappointed by the news but truly respect Senator Kerrey’s decision today. I know he gave careful consideration to this matter.”
“In his many years of service to our great state, Bob Kerrey always put Nebraska families first. Today, he rightly has decided to put his own family first. We support him in this decision and wish him, Sarah and Henry the very best. I know that he will continue to play a valuable role in our Party and nation as he has always done.”
