South Sioux Mayor to Run for Legislature

Mayor Bob Giese, surrounded by his family and friends, announced his candidacy for State Senate this morning at the Marina Inn in his hometown of South Sioux City.
Mayor Giese answers some questions during his press conference.
Mayor Giese has a record of results for South Sioux City taxpayers. As city councilman and mayor, he has created jobs, grown the economy, and balanced budgets.
The LD 17 seat, which represents Dixon, Dakota, and Wayne Counties, is currently held by term-limited Republican Pat Engel.
