Achelpohl Statement on the Death of Congressman Peter Hoagland

Nebraska Democratic Party State Chair Steve Achelpohl released the following statement regarding the death of Congressman Peter Hoagland:
“Peter Hoagland was one of the most decent persons I have ever met. Peter was a remarkable public servant who dedicated his life to the people of Omaha and Nebraska. His passion for politics was only surpassed by his love of the lawmaking process and his deeply held belief that good governance could make a difference in the lives of people.”
“The people of Nebraska lost a tremendous leader and favorite son yesterday. He will be profoundly missed by all of us. The Nebraska Democratic Party extends to Peter’s wife Barbara and his children our deepest sympathies.”
