Time Magazine Highlights Obama Efforts in Nebraska

Omaha Metro Area for Obama, a group founded by Solomon Kleinsmith, was featured by Time Magazine in an online article:

Political organizing for Democrats in red states like Nebraska can often feel a bit like leading AA meetings. But that hasn’t deterred more than 300 Nebraskans from forming a dozen groups for Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and they aren’t the only ones.

Solomon and his group are doing great organizing work, as well as getting Obama supporters ready for the February 9th Presidential Caucus.

I am not a Democrat so to speak or a republican. I develop my own beliefs on various issues. The disabilities act and Social security disability Reform is important to me. October 8th of 2006 I was in a bad car wreck. Causing me to lose a good Job that was labor intensive and take a diferent one at 15000 a year less money. I am 37 and walk with a cane. I wasn’t even supposed to be doing that by now. I had to return to work not fully recovered because I couldn’t get my disability, By the time disability was approved I had started a new job and position. But, at 20 hrs per week I made too much money. I recieved my first disability checks and mailed them back as instructed. Evidently they didn’t recieve them so I got a threatening bill in the mail saying I owed the US government the money.. This took phone calls and letters and time to straighten out. I agree there needs to be some changes and would like to help
