
What is the Democratic Congress doing for us?

I talk to several people each day who are frustrated with the lack of progress that they perceive is coming from Washington, DC. They’re concerned that, despite being on the victorious side of one of the most lopsided election cycles in modern history, Democrats are not doing enough to repair the damage wrought by the Bush administration.
Yes, we still have troops in Iraq. It is highly unlikely that anything can be done about this until we have a new Commander in Chief. But at the end of the day, the Democratic Congress has done almost everything in their power to move America forward.
