House Party Wrap-Up

Nov 12, 11:08 AM CST

This past week, Democrats across Nebraska gathered in the homes of fellow Democrats to celebrate One Year Out from Election Day, 2008. At each event I attended in the 2nd Congressional District, I was able to talk to activists about the Democratic Party’s field strategy for the coming year and gather input on executing our plan at the local level. I wanted to share a few photos from some of the events this week.

Activists gathered at Paul Thornblad’s home in West Omaha on Tuesday:

They were able to hear from Legislative District 31 candidate Natalie Nowak:

Activists gathered at the home of Albert and Myrna Lierz in Florence on Wednesday:

Activists gathered in Midtown at the home of James Dugdale on Friday evening:

I want to extend special thanks to all the people who opened up their homes for a house party this week, including: Ron Christensen, Jeremy & Shannon Nordquist, the Thornblads, the Lierzs, and James Dugdale. Without their generosity, these events would not have been possible.

It is never too late to organize your friends and neighbors and hold a Democratic Party meeting. If you would like help organizing an event in your area, please do not hesitate to contact me.
