From the Road: Sarpy County Democrats

Nov 29, 01:08 PM CST

Thanks to the hard work of George and Peg O’Dea Lippert and Carol Blood, the Sarpy County Democrats had a successful meeting of caucus leaders and volunteers last night in Bellevue. About 40 Sarpy County Democrats turned out to learn about our upcoming Presidential caucus, some who had never been to a Sarpy County meeting before.

Sarpy County Democrats Chair Burke Summers welcomes the crowd.

NDP 2nd District Chair Donna Noll addresses the group about running for office.

Here’s me, doing my best to explain the caucus process to the group!

A preference group convenes during the mock caucus to elect a leader.

Thanks to everyone who came to this event last night.

The Sarpy County Democrats meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month. For more information about these meetings, contact Carol Blood.

Also, be sure to check out the Sarpy County Democrats’ website!
