Congratulations Mayor Toczek!

While flipping through the Omaha World Herald, I am not used to finding stories about the 3rd District. I was equally surprised when it was a positive story about a great Democrat. Alicia Toczek was featured in the Midlands section. She ran for Mayor of Loup City in 2006, and she was elected as the first woman to that post.

This is just further proof that if we have good, strong candidates like Alicia, Democrats can win even in the most conservative parts of Nebraska. If anyone is interested in running for any office or is planning on running, I would encourage you to contact us at the state office. We want to get as many Democrats elected as we can.

Way to go Mayor Toczek, the recognition is well deserved.
