Hall County Caucus Locations Set
Jan 13, 09:19 AM CST
The Hall County Democrats announced their caucus locations in the Grand Island Independent today:
On Feb. 9, Nebraska Democrats will have their own caucus to see which candidate receives the majority of the 31 delegates this state will send to the Democratic National Convention.
The caucusing will begin at 2 p.m.
Glen Murray, chairman of the Hall County Democrats, said nine locations have been chosen for the caucus in this county.
Murray said each caucus site will have a leader and that, “ideally, each precinct will have a leader.”
The Nebraska caucus will be very similar to the Iowa caucus, he said. After the caucus rules are explained, people from each precinct will gather together and express their preferences for presidential candidates and delegates.
