  2. I am re-registering as a Republican after 30 years as a a Democrat since my party decided to switch to a caucus system that I will not be able to participate in due to my work. I have always voted in the primaries and this year will be no different, save that I will be voting as a registered Republican for the first time ever.

  3. Mr. Morris will be disappointed to learn that the Republican “primary” has absolutely no impact whatsoever on the awarding of delegates to the National Convention. It is the very definition of a “beauty contest.” The Republicans award their delegates at their state convention, and are not bound by the results of the state primary.
