DNC Delegate Application Now Available

The Nebraska Democratic Party this morning released the official delegate application form for the 2008 DNC National Convention in Denver.

All individuals wishing to apply for a delegate position must fill out the form and return it to our office by May 30th.

2. Hey everyone-
   
   I’ve gotten a lot of questions on what it takes to become a DNC delegate. Because we are focusing all of our efforts on nailing down final details for February 9th’s contest (as well as spreading the word), I won’t be available to answer national delegate-related questions until next week.
   
   In the meantime, if you want to become a delegate, you should attend your caucus on February 9th. Becoming a district level delegate requires caucus attendance.
   
   The high level of interest in becoming a national delegate is even more evidence that we’re headed for a great year.

8. Just a reminder to those wishing to go to Denver – in order to do so, you have to be elected a Presidential preference delegate at your local caucus, then your county convention, and the state convention in order to do so.
