  6. Why the disparity in places for candidates’ families appearances? Why does Michelle Obama get the Lied Center and Chelsea Clinton only got the Union? Chelsea was terrific without a lot of hype—she helped me decide to vote for Hillary Clinton.

  7. This is the time for action from citizens of the United States of America/ Nebraskans. “Time for Change = OBAMA”

  8. Ms. Moore,

The locations of appearances are requested and reserved by each specific party. If the location is not available due to another event “the location is not available.” This has nothing to do with disparity in places for candidates. For example, the Quest Center was not available for Obama in Omaha, therefore his appearance was held at the Civic Auditorium without an empty seat. This is why we need “Change” because ignorance = the same result and knowledge = Change. I would suggest having an open mind and at least listen to what Michelle Obama has to say. Thank you

  9. Obama may not have the political experience that Hillary does but at least he thought enough of Nebraska residents to actually show up in our state to address us. Hillary only sent her daughter. Is Nebraska not worthy enough to warrant a personal appearance? Are we sure that if Hillary gets elected that it won’t actually be Bill running this country again? From what I’ve heard Hillary is very wishy-washy about her views of the topics and this comes from someone with experience? It is time for true change and its time to take the chance on a new view for the presidential candidate.

  10. We would like to have Michelle visit out state NE, like Chelsea did. Central NE Dems filled the room last night and we would do the same for Michelle.

  11. I am so very impressed to see Nebraskans come out to support Barack Obama or at hear his views. The night at the Civic was not about Republicans or Democrats but change. I have been a democrat all my life and sat next to a lady who revealed she is a republican who is voting for Obama. She stated, ” it is time for change…”. It was refreshing to here that there are so many who recognize it is not about the color of skin or the party you vote with but about Nebraska citizens and Americans.

  12. Think back …. how long did it take Bill Clinton to visit Nebraska while he was in office? His wife is the same way …. Nebraskans, let your voices be heard, do you want to wait another 4 – 8 years before a democratic president visits our fine state? No! Vote for Barack Obama, “Change begins with you”!
    Mary    Feb 08, 02:15 PM CST #
  13. As Nebraskans we should be supportive of change in any form available. I am disappointed to hear negative attacks against either party. Instead of personal judgments against the candidates let’s unite and support the Democratic Party.

  14. I don’t like the media or others telling me who to pick for president. Why is there only a choice between Obama and Clinton? Why is it that the states voting before Nebraska’s primary get to decide the front runners? My vote is for Mike Gravel, he stands for real change
    Blake    Feb 08, 10:43 PM CST #
  15. Hillary Clinton is a viable candidate, but my vote will be for Sen. Obama. Chelsea was sent to NE only after it was in the media that Obama and his wife would be coming to Nebraska. Let’s not begin negative campaigning within our party – just vote Democrat. Obama is from Kansas, where he lived with his mother and grandparents. He is a midwesterner! Vote what your mind and heart tells you. Think for yourself!
