Senate Race Update

Mar 27, 09:43 AM CST

Our Senate candidates have been busy as they start to gear up for the May Primary Election.

Yesterday, Tony Raimondo was in Omaha to outline his economic stimulus package:

”...our long-term focus must be on creating jobs by investing in programs that repair and upgrade our nation’s ailing infrastructure, create green collar jobs through clean and renewable energy, and provide innovative job training to Nebraskans, preparing them to compete in a global economy,” said Raimondo.

You can read his full economic plan here.

Today, Scott Kleeb unveiled his new logo in an email to supporters:

More than 100 talented people responded to my call to design a campaign logo. Thousands more voted for their favorite and offered sound advice. In the end, we took the best design and used your input to improve it even further. The winner:

For those of you in central Nebraska, you can meet both candidates at the 3rd Congressional District meeting tomorrow in Grand Island. The meeting will be held at the Veteran’s Club (1914 W Capital) and will start at 11:00 a.m.
