Under 40's Democrats in Lincoln Thursday

The Under 40’s Democrats will be hosting an event on Thursday, April 17, at the Marz Bar here in Lincoln.

From the group’s facebook event page:

Your stimulus check from the government is on its way. Don’t just sit around and wait for it. Under 40 Democrats is a grassroots social organization that gives like-minded people the chance to have a good time while strengthening the Democratic Party.

Politics doesn’t have to be boring. We want young people to know that being a Democrat means more than voting and attending meetings. It can be a lot of fun as well.

Our name refers to a particular age group, but our events are open to all ages – basically any Democrat looking for a good time with great people.

  2. Thanks, Phil. But, I would point out that the Under 40 Democrats encourage – and only allow – responsible drinking at their events. People are having a good time, but no one’s “getting smashed.”
