Jim Esch Unveils Dare Squad
to Counter to Lee Terry’s Truth Squad


Omaha, NE – Jim Esch, candidate for Nebraska’s Second Congressional District, today unveiled his Dare Squad. The group has been originated to counter Lee Terry’s Truth Squad.

“It has become obvious that Lee Terry is scrambling to cover up his ineffective 10 year record in Congress,” spokesman Joe Sibilia said. “The formation of Terry’s truth squad is nothing more than a ruse to deflect from the issues that voters want addressed in this election.”

The Terry truth squad was set up as an effort to counter what they believe to be false claims against their campaign. The Esch dare squad is being formed to encourage Terry to stick to the issues at hand and to give Terry an opportunity to defend his record in an open forum.

“As recently as May 14 of this year (in the Omaha World Herald), Lee Terry himself proclaimed that his record is something that he would like to talk about,” Sibilia continued. “By no coincidence that is something that needs to be reviewed for the people of our district. As our first dare to the Terry campaign we are throwing down the gauntlet on a series of debates. We can start with a debate focused solely on the number one issue facing voters today; high energy costs. We are awaiting the Terry campaign’s reply.”

  2. Terry has accomplished something in the past ten years at the taxpayers expense. It was a letter sent out last week warning me to check out the contractor before hiring them for my recent storm damage, funny thing is I had no storm damage and the letter came almost a month after the June 27th storms, sorry I dont wait a month to fix things. I am so glad Terry showed his concern, but honestly his mailings should be investigated as abuse of taxpayer money and as a sure sneaky way of campaigning.
    I DARE all you TERRY supporters to open your eyes to the TRUTH and vote for ESCH.
