This Weekend: Canvass for Change

After eight years of the Bush administration, I don’t need to tell you that it’s critical that we do everything we can to put a Democrat in the White House. And with your help, we’ll be working to deliver electoral votes from Nebraska for a Democratic candidate for the first time in 44 years.
This weekend, Senator Obama’s campaign will be establishing their presence in our state. Let’s welcome the Campaign for Change to Nebraska in style: by taking our Party’s message door to door in Lincoln and Omaha.

To make sure everyone has an opportunity to participate, we’ll be holding three canvassing shifts:
9:30 am Saturday, Aug 16
1:00 pm Saturday, Aug 16
1:00 pm Sunday, Aug 17
And we will be meeting at these locations in Omaha and Lincoln:
In Omaha:
Walnut Grove Park
4901 S. 153rd St.
In Lincoln:
Pentzer Park
27th & Fair St
