OMAHA, Neb. – Steve Achelpohl, Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party, released the following statement in response to the tragic shooting death of Arkansas Democratic Party Chair Bill Gwatney:
“Our hearts go out to our friends and colleagues in Arkansas. This senseless and shocking crime has cut short Bill’s admirable career of service to his party, his state, and his country. I ask that all Nebraskans – whether they be Democrats, Republicans, or Independents – keep their thoughts and prayers with Bill’s family during this difficult time.”
