Robynn Tysver of the Omaha World-Herald wrote about yesterday’s Canvass for Change:

The Barack Obama campaign took to the streets Saturday in west Omaha and north Lincoln.

More than 100 volunteers knocked on doors and tried to sell the Democratic presidential candidate’s message of change. It was all part of Obama’s plan to pursue one or more electoral votes in Nebraska.

(emphasis added)

For those of you who couldn’t take part in this weekend’s canvass, rest assured that we will be taking to the streets for our Party many times between now and the election. Make sure you sign up for our email updates and keep an eye on the website for more information.

When the Senator addresses the VFW, what would happen if he said,”The first day I am in office I will direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to follow the law and admit ALL veterans to VA health care.” What would happen if he said, “As soon as possible, I will ask Congress to fund the VA with Advance Appropriations so they can budget like any other business.” And what would happen if he said, “I will work with Congress to change the law and allow the VA to bill Medicare when a covered vet receives care at a VA.”

These are declarative and are main topics of all the veteran’s organizations
