NBC’s First Read covered McCain’s shocking statement in the current issue of Contingencies magazine.
Says McCain:
Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.
That’s right, John McCain wants to apply the same disastrous policies that have nearly crippled our financial system to our nation’s health care system. If that doesn’t show a lack of judgment, I don’t know what does.
