Message from John Berge: Vote Early for Barack

Sep 23, 12:49 PM CST

Message from John Berge, Director of the Nebraska Campaign for Change:

With less than 42 days to go, it’s going to be a sprint to Election Day.

But you don’t have to wait until November 4th to make your voice heard. With early voting beginning in Nebraska on Monday, September 29th—both in person and by mail—you can be one of the first to cast your ballot for Barack.

Early voting is fast, easy, and allows you to avoid Election Day lines. And it could make the difference in this election.

Show your support for Barack and Democrats up and down the ballot—make sure you are registered to vote and find your early vote location and hours.

From the beginning, this grassroots movement has brought ordinary people into the political process.

We know that Nebraska families can’t afford another four years of Bush-McCain policies. With the start of early voting, no one can afford to sit on the sidelines.

Take a moment to make sure you are registered, and then visit your local County Board of Elections and vote for Barack. Learn more now:

Don’t forget to share this message with neighbors, friends, and family and let them know how they can register to vote—and even vote early for Barack.

We can’t do this without you.

Thanks,

John

  1. I’ve heard some people say that they don’t like voting early because they like going to the polls and being ‘part of the experience’. I guess my response is that you should vote early and spend all day volunteering for the campaign. Whether it’s driving voters to the polls, making last minute ‘Get Out The Vote’ calls, or standing on a busy corner with a sign, be part of the experience by volunteering that day, there’ll definately be plenty of work to do!

  2. Is the NE Democratic party have an organized system to recruit and use drivers to get people to the polls?
