The following is a message from David Plouffe, Campaign Manager for Obama for America:
We have an historic opportunity to split Nebraska’s electoral votes for the first time ever and win an electoral vote for Barack in the 2nd Congressional District.
Volunteers in Omaha are working their hearts out. But there’s no way they’ll meet their targets without supporters like you stepping up to join the final push.
There will be plenty of important opportunities to help from home in the coming days. But volunteering in a swing district is the most important thing you can do right now to make sure Barack is elected president.
We to need to fill thousands of volunteer shifts in battlegrounds, including Nebraska’s crucial 2nd District.
Can you sign up for this weekend, or in the final days before Election Day? Campaign staff in Omaha are waiting for you.
The race is extremely close. Make a difference by traveling to Omaha and help put us over the top:
In just 12 days, we’ll finally have a chance to bring the change we need.
But to make it happen, we have to keep fighting for every single vote. We cannot slow down with the finish line in sight.
