Day Twelve: Still No Comment from Heineman.

Deficit Dave Heineman’s refusal to comment about the “Husker Kickback” continues. Why is the Governor trying to pretend like this issue doesn’t exist?
Today marks the twelfth day since Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Vic Covalt asked Governor Dave Heineman to the give back “the Husker Kickbacks.”
Almost two weeks ago, the state auditor has uncovered a Husker Kickback where state employees got thousands of dollars worth of tickets and passes and other benefits for advertising on Husker Sports Network. The state agencies should pay the state treasury the value of the benefits they received as kickbacks for spending taxpayer money. The money needs to be returned.
