Hold Mike Johanns Accountable.

Republican Mike Johanns has several public events scheduled in Nebraska this week. Concerned Nebraskans should attend these public appearances and ask Johanns why he repeatedly bad-mouthed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009, went on to vote against it, yet he secretly begged the Secretary of Agriculture for funds created by this very act. Seems more than hypocritical, doesn’t it?
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009 created jobs, helped small businesses, provided tax cuts for 95% for all Americans, and invested in communities across the state.
Here’s Johanns’ schedule for the next few days:
• Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. – Senator Johanns hosts an open coffee in Fremont at the Fremont Chamber of Commerce on 605 North Broad Street in Fremont, NE.
• Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 from 10-11 a.m. – Senator Johanns hosts an open coffee in Hastings at the OK Café on 806 West 16th Street in Hastings, NE.
It’s time to hold Mike Johanns accountable for his votes in the Senate.
