Day Eighteen: Where in the World is Heineman

Dave Heineman appears to have completely disappeared. Has he taken off for the Caribbean? Is he walking across Nebraska? Or is Heineman hunkered down in the Governor’s Mansion.
Today marks the eighteenth day since Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Vic Covalt asked Governor Dave Heineman to the give back “the Husker Kickbacks.” The state auditor has uncovered a Husker Kickback where state employees got thousands of dollars worth of tickets and passes and other benefits for advertising on Husker Sports Network. The state agencies should pay the state treasury the value of the benefits they received as kickbacks for spending taxpayer money. The money needs to be returned.
