Moul Coming to a Town Near You.

Jan 18, 11:35 AM CST

I just finished posting Maxine Moul’s Kick-off events on the Event Center.

Next week, she will be visiting Plattsmouth, Nebraska City, Auburn, Falls City, Beatrice, Syracuse, Fremont, Oakland, South Sioux City, Norfolk, and wrap it up with a rally in Lincoln on her birthday on the 26th. Again, you can find all those events posted in the Event Center. If you are anywhere near those towns, you should come out and show your support.

Also, check out these stories about her candidacy in the Omaha World Herald, the Lincoln Journal Star and the Sioux City Journal.

    Do what’s right

For as long as I can remember, Nebraska has been a place where people work hard, play fair and respect one another. We feel special, because in many ways we are. So I had high hopes, when stories emerged about a “culture of corruption” in Washington, and “the scandal of the century” in Congress, that our officials would be above it.

But instead of immediately making a complete and permanent break with the crooks, Jeff Fortenberry is parsing legalisms about “innocent until proven guilty” and delaying the return of dirty money. He kept former U.S. Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham’s funds right up to the moment Duke tearfully confessed that he had for years betrayed the public trust.

Even though Tom DeLay has been indicted on two felonies, forced out of his leadership position and three times reprimanded by an ethics panel controlled by his own party, Fortenberry refuses to return dirty money from a political action committee controlled by DeLay.

Why is Fortenberry blind to his ethical obligations and unable or unwilling to do the right thing?

Maybe we can’t compete with the special interests when it comes to the money we pay. But we can decide whether our elected officials deserve to keep their government job.”

  2. Glad to see that we have an excellent candidate to take on Fortenberry.
Friends don’t let republicans run unopposed.

  3. It time to put dignity, interity, and honesty back in the House of Represenatives. It is time to clean house from the 1st district to the 3rd district.

We have good candidates in all three districts. And we have a good chance to win. Stick with what is at issue here. And what Americans and Nebraskan’s are really concerned about.

And we will win. Believe me we are all tired of the corruption, the back door deals, midnight legislation, and all lobbyist legislation.

So lets clean house in Nebraska. Send a message to Washington. We want good government, we want change and we want integrity, honesty and dignity from our Representatives.
