Supporting Our Candidates

We here at the NDP want to recognize a county party that is leading the way in supporting the great candidates we have running across the state. Sunday night, the Saunders County Democratic Party was the first county party to donate to Maxine Moul’s campaign when they presented her with a $500 check. The party worked hard to raise the money, and many people at the meeting wrote additional checks to Maxine’s campaign.

The hard work of the Saunders County Democrats has not gone unnoticed and will hopefully encourage other county parties to do the same for other candidates. Your generosity will help get Democrats elected in November.

  1. Thank you Saunders County Democrats for making such a generous investment in the future of Nebraska’s first district. Jeff Fortenberry does not understand the people of rural Nebraska or their interests – he’s simply asleep at the wheel (on unpaved roads, no less, after dropping the ball on the transportation bill) as small town jobs vanish without a trace.

    We are in desperate need of Maxine Moul’s voice, especially her years of experience in rural economic development. Maxine and Ben Nelson made a great team for Nebraska when he was governor – they will make an even greater team for Nebraska AND America in 2007.
