Senator Bob Kerrey to Headline 2007 Morrison-Exon Day Dinner
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Democratic Party is pleased to announce that former Nebraska U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey will headline the Party’s 2007 Morrison-Exon Day Dinner. The event will be held on June 23rd at the Hilton Omaha.
The event will also feature Nebraska’s Senator Ben Nelson and Democratic elected officials from throughout the state.
The Morrison-Exon Day Dinner is the Party’s premier fundraising event of the year. In 2006, the event drew a record crowd of nearly 900 people from throughout Nebraska.
“It will be wonderful to welcome Senator Kerrey home for this year’s Morrison-Exon Day Dinner,” said Matt Connealy, Executive Director of the Nebraska Democratic Party. “We have much to celebrate together as a Party, and a lot to look forward to in the future.”
