Barry Rubin Steps Down as State Democratic Party Executive Director
LINCOLN, Neb. – Today, Barry Rubin resigned from the position of Executive Director of the Nebraska Democratic Party.
“After a successful election cycle the time is right for me to explore further career opportunities,” said Barry Rubin. “I want to thank the officers and staff of the Party, as well as all of the Democrats, Republicans and Independents I had the pleasure of working with over these past three years. I am grateful for the opportunity I had here, and hope I made a difference.”
State Chair Steve Achelpohl made the following statement after accepting Rubin’s resignation:
“On behalf of the Nebraska Democratic Party, I extend my profound thanks to Barry for his leadership, devotion, and dedication to the Party since his arrival in 2003. His skill, professionalism and humor will be deeply missed. The Nebraska Democratic family wishes Barry and his family all the best in the future.”
