"Lincoln, NE - The Obama campaign announced today that grassroots volunteers will hold a Vote for Change kickoff event on Saturday, May 10th in Lincoln. Vote for Change is a 50-state voter registration and mobilization drive aimed at getting millions more Americans registered to vote and involved in the democratic process ahead of the November election."

Sarpy County Democrats Meeting

The Sarpy County Democrats meet on the third wednesday of each month at Lansky's Pizza located at 3909 Twin Creek ( 39th & Hiway 370) in Bellevue Nebraska.
Please join us for the social hour prior to the meeting. We join together from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for networking, dinner and information sharing.
The official meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and features a monthly speaker, current political information and the opportunity to meet other Sarpy County Democrats.

Phelps Co. Post-primary Convention

The Phelps County Democrats will meet at CHEEX, 306 East Ave., in Holdrege, NE at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1.
All registered Democrats residing in Phelps County are considered delegates to the county convention. Presidential Elector Candidates to the Nebraska Democratic Party State Convention will be elected from among those who attended the 2008 Caucus.
Officers to be elected at the convention include: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

Dodge County Democratic Convention

All delegates will be expected to attend the Dodge County Democratic Convention. This event will take place on June 5, 2008, at 6:30 pm at the Hooper City Auditorium.
We will elect delegates to the State Convention and elect officers for the County Party.
If you are interested in taking a more active role in the County Party you will be pleased to hear that every two years we are required to hold an election of officers to the Dodge County Democratic Party (Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, & Treasurer). These elections will take place at the County Convention.
Please note that for the above offices gender balance must be observed. In addition to the above offices, the Dodge County Democratic Party is also in search of a new webmaster to maintain the County Party website.
